About the Role:
As an OSHC Assistant Coordinator, you‘ll play a vital role in providing a high–quality and safe OSHC service for primary school children. You‘ll work within a dedicated team to create engaging educational programs and foster a nurturing environment.
Your Key Responsibilities:

Leadership: Be the responsible person for the service, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of staff and children.

Operations: Maintain attendance records and casual booking schedules to guarantee child safety and supervision.

Program Development: Support the design and implementation of engaging educational programs, including observation and reflection journals.

Collaboration: Create opportunities for families to engage with the program and share their children‘s participation.

Community Building: Maintain strong relationships with families and the school community.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you‘ll possess:

Qualifications: A qualification in Child Education and Care or actively working towards one.

Experience: Previous experience in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC).

Child Protection: A certificate of training in child protection.

First Aid: Full First Aid certification.

Working with Children Check: Hold a current NSW Working with Children check or be willing to obtain one.
