Job Details:
- Location: Calgary, AB
- Salary: $28.15 per hour
- Schedule: Full-time (32-40 hours per week) with flexible hours including Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, and On-Call shifts.

Responsibilities:
- Safe and Efficient Deliveries: Operate and maintain straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring safe and timely deliveries.
- Route Planning and Navigation: Utilize GPS navigation systems, plan routes efficiently, and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Vehicle Care: Conduct pre-trip inspections, oversee vehicle condition, and perform preventative maintenance to ensure the safe operation of the truck.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, fuel consumption, and trip reports.
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods securely and efficiently, following proper procedures and safety protocols.
- Compliance: Obtain special permits when required for international routes and ensure compliance with all transportation regulations.
Truck drivers Qualifications:
- Class 1 or equivalent commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role (or willingness to learn).
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety procedures.
- Ability to operate and maintain various types of trucks.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to perform the duties of the job, including lifting, bending, and maneuvering heavy objects.
