This is an exciting opportunity to work with heavy steel plates (5-100mm), utilizing your expertise in engineering drawings and heavy engineering applications. You’ll be contributing to the production of maritime cranes, renowned for their quality and performance.

Welder Responsibilities:

• Perform horizontal and vertical full penetration butt welds with bare wire, meeting stringent quality standards.
• Interpret and apply engineering drawings with accuracy and precision.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of heavy engineering principles and techniques.
• Work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to all company safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Level 3 Welding qualification or equivalent apprenticeship.
• Proven experience in heavy steel plate welding.
• Familiarity with overhead cranes and lifting equipment is a plus.

The Weld Test:
