Lead Arborist / Crew Leader Location: Otahuhu, Auckland Industry: Arboriculture Job Type: Full-time Wage: $35 – $45 per hour

Urban Arborists LTD, a locally owned and operated company in Auckland, is searching for a motivated and experienced Lead Arborist / Crew Leader Arborist to join our friendly and highly skilled team.
What you’ll do:
Lead and train a crew of arborists:
As the Lead Arborist, you’ll be responsible for motivating, mentoring, and supervising your crew members. You’ll set the example for safety, quality, and efficiency, and share your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers.
Perform a variety of tree care services:
You’ll be hands-on, performing a wide range of residential and commercial arboriculture services, from removals and pruning to bracing and installations.
Provide exceptional customer service:
You’ll interact directly with clients, ensuring they understand the work being done and are satisfied with the results.
Contribute to the success of the company: You’ll have the opportunity to participate in quoting jobs and offering input on how to improve our processes.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
Qualifications:
A minimum of a Level 4 Certificate in Arboriculture (or equivalent) and a full driver’s license with a Class 2 endorsement.
Experience:
6+ years of experience working as an arborist.
Skills and qualities:
Safety-conscious, physically fit, a problem-solver, organized, and have a positive attitude. You enjoy coaching others and have a friendly and professional demeanor.
