ALH Limited, a leading civil construction company in the Wellington region, is seeking a motivated and physically fit individual to join our team as a Class 2 Construction Labourer. In this exciting role, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our daily operations on various civil construction projects.

What You’ll Do:

• Contribute to project success: Assist with a range of manual construction tasks, including digging, trenching, concrete mixing, and site cleanup.
• Operate construction equipment: Safely operate and maintain various tools and machinery as needed, following strict safety protocols.
• Handle materials efficiently: Load and unload building materials and equipment from trucks, ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Prepare the worksite: Assist in site preparation and setup activities, such as marking boundaries, laying foundations, and installing temporary structures.
• Prioritize safety: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to create a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Drive deliveries: Utilize your Class 2 driver’s license to transport materials across different project sites.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Possesses a valid Class 2 driver’s license.
• Has previous experience in construction or a related field (preferred, but not mandatory).
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Can work effectively in various weather conditions.
• Possesses basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment (a plus).
• Maintains excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly.
