Laundry Attendant

The DoubleTree By Hilton Alice Springs is seeking a dedicated and reliable Laundry Attendant to join our team! In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have clean and fresh linens and towels.

Laundry Attendant Responsibilities:

• Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironers efficiently and safely.
• Sort, classify, and load laundry according to fabric type, color, and care instructions.
• Monitor laundry cycles and adjust settings as needed.
• Remove laundry promptly to prevent wrinkles and ensure proper drying.
• Fold and stack linens and towels neatly according to hotel standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry room environment.
• Replenish laundry supplies as needed.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues.
• May assist Housekeeping staff with linen deliveries to guest rooms (optional).

Qualifications:

• Experience working in a laundry environment (preferred).
• Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Physically able to lift and carry laundry items.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
