Your responsibilities will encompass:

• Monitoring and controlling hotel entrances, ensuring the safety and security of guests and property.
• Conducting regular patrols of the hotel premises, including public areas and guest rooms.
• Managing and de-escalating undesirable behavior in a professional and effective manner.
• Providing exceptional customer service to guests, offering assistance and local information.
• Responding promptly to security emergencies, including liaising with emergency services.
• Performing fire inspections and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Operating, monitoring, and reporting any concerns identified through the CCTV system.

We’re looking for someone who possesses:

• Previous security experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• A current Queensland Security Licence (Sec/CC/Monitoring) and RSA qualification.
• The ability to work independently and make sound decisions in challenging situations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
