Responsibilities Tasks:
- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, sweet goods, muffins, cookies, and cakes, as well as icings and frostings following recipes or special customer orders
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
- Bake mixed dough and batters
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling
- Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
- Develop production schedules
- Ensure product quality meets established standards
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas
- Operate machinery
- Organize and maintain inventory
