- Registering arriving guests and assigning rooms

- Processing guests’ departures, calculating charges, and receiving payments
- Balancing cash, completing balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
- Maintaining an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments
- Following emergency and safety procedures
- Answering phones, relaying messages, and assisting guests
- Handling wake-up calls and providing exceptional customer service
