Job Overview: As a Thai Massage Therapist, your role will involve consulting with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for clients. Utilizing massage techniques such as soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, joint pain and lower-grade mobilizations, you’ll administer effective treatments. Additionally, you’ll apply finger and hand pressure to specific points of the body, conduct range of motion and muscle tests, explain procedures, risks, and benefits to clients, and maintain records of treatments given. This role will also include foot massage techniques.
Requirements:
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
