Cleaner rooms

Grandview Motel, located at 463 Grandview Terrace, Kamloops, BC, is on the lookout for skilled individuals to join their team as Cleaners for their hotel setting. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive hourly wage of $18.50, offering 30 to 40 hours per week. The successful candidates will be expected to work day, evening, weekend, and shift hours, with possibilities for overtime and on-call duties. Flexibility in working hours is a key attribute for this role.

Job Overview: As a Cleaner at Grandview Motel, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the hotel rooms and common areas. The tasks include sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets and upholstered furniture, making beds, changing sheets, and distributing clean towels and toiletries. Additionally, you will stock the linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures, and handle lost and found items.

Cleaner rooms Additional Responsibilities:

• Disinfecting operating rooms and other areas
• Managing debris and emptying trash containers
• Washing windows, walls, and ceilings
• Cleaning changing rooms and showers

Requirements:

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: Experience is an asset
• Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort
