Overview:

Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Daycare worker Responsibilities:
As a Daycare Worker, your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks designed to foster the growth and development of children in a nurturing environment:
- Childcare Basics: Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers with care and attention.
- Program Support: Collaborate with early childhood educators in implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
- Record Keeping: Assist in keeping records related to children’s activities and progress.
- Engagement Activities: Engage children in various activities, including storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts to stimulate their creativity and learning.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the maintenance of daycare equipment, contributing to a safe and hygienic environment.
- Housekeeping and Cooking: Assist in housekeeping duties and cooking responsibilities to maintain a clean and organized space.
- Snack Preparation: Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
- Observations and Reporting: Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors, and discuss progress and problems at staff meetings.
Credentials:
- Certificates, Licences, Memberships, and Courses: Child development assistant (ECE level 1)

- Physically demanding role requiring a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
