Overview: Innovative Stainless Solutions Inc., located in Courtenay, BC, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Pressure Vessel Welder to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary of $32.00 to $35.00 per hour, offering day shifts and a comprehensive benefits package.

Education and Experience:

• Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
• Experience: 5 years or more

Credentials:

• Welder Trade Red Seal Certificate

Experience and Specialization:

• Type of materials: Stainless steel
• Welding techniques: Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG)
• Equipment and machinery experience: Arc welding machine
• Area of specialization: Pressure vessels, Specialty welding

Additional Information:

• Transportation/travel information: Valid driver’s licence
• Work conditions and physical capabilities: Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Weight handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• Own tools/equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles, Welding helmet
