QatarEnergy LNG, a leader in responsible energy production, seeks a Security Sub Officer to join its dedicated team at the Al Khor site. In this crucial role, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining robust security measures, safeguarding employees, and protecting company assets.

As a Security Sub Officer at QatarEnergy LNG, your primary responsibility is to ensure the implementation of robust security measures and controls at a specific site, supporting the company’s security operations consistently.

• Dynamic environment: Operate efficiently under pressure, managing security during both minor and major incidents.
• Regulatory expertise: Stay abreast of Qatar Civil Defense requirements and ensure systems adhere to the latest standards.
• Team leadership: Coordinate security and guard services, guiding the team’s emergency response.

Security Sub Officer Key Responsibilities:

• Command and Control: Oversee security operations at the Al Khor site, coordinating guard activities and emergency response procedures.
• Risk Management: Participate in security risk assessments, identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Incident Response: Lead investigations into security breaches and report findings to management.
• Compliance & Inspection: Ensure contracted guards and security posts meet company and regulatory standards.
• Communication & Training: Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve security issues, train guards on protocols, and act as the Security In Charge during incidents.

Your Ideal Profile:

• Qualified: Completion of a Secondary School Education followed by a 2-year Technical Preparation Programme or development program focused on security.
• Experienced: 5 years’ experience in military police/government to junior officer level OR 7 years’ private security experience in an industrial environment, with at least 3 years in oil & gas preferred.
• Certified: Possess relevant security certifications and be a member of a professional security body.
• Tech-Savvy: Fluent in English (written and spoken) and computer literate.
• Safety-Conscious: Dedicated to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all.
• License & Training: Hold a valid State of Qatar driver’s license and have completed a First Aid Course.
