Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough site inspections to ensure work aligns with permit conditions, regulatory standards, and HSE procedures.
• Review work conditions and issue notices for necessary corrections to maintain compliant execution.
• Communicate non-compliance concerns to relevant parties and conduct follow-up inspections to verify corrective actions.
• Recommend suspension of activities posing safety risks to workers or facilities.
• Document permit violations through photos and reports for supervisor review and action.
• Investigate permit-related complaints and accidents, working with safety, environment, and end users to prevent future incidents.
• Conduct final Permit Closure inspections to verify adherence to safety procedures.

Your Qualifications:

• Secondary School Certificate or equivalent + specialized courses in safety or a related field (Higher Diploma/Degree preferred).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in safety and work inspection, ideally in the Oil and gas or infrastructure industry.
• Strong working knowledge of engineering and HSE codes/standards, construction sites, and plant maintenance.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and MS Office applications.
• Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken).
• Valid driver’s license and strong interpersonal skills.
• Keen observation skills to identify non-compliance with procedures and standards.
