Rate of Pay:
- Starting at $18.00 per hour
- 6-month rate of pay $18.50 per hour
- 1-year rate of pay $20.50 per hour
- 2-year rate of pay $21.00 per hour
- 3-year rate of pay $21.50 per hour
Salaries are reviewed annually on April 1st.
Status:
While we aim to fill Full-Time positions (30-44 hours per week), we also welcome Casual and Seasonal availability.

Job Description:
What you will be doing:
- Provide professional, engaging, and friendly service consistently
- Ensure cleanliness of guest rooms, colleague service areas, and corridors following hotel standards
- Make beds, change sheets and towels
- Clean washroom facilities, including toilets, bathtubs, sinks, mirrors, and floors
- Vacuum floors, draperies, and upholstered furniture
- Dust furniture and fixtures
- Stock guest room amenities
- Remove and sort linen, garbage, and recycling
- Assist guests with concerns and requests promptly
- Place furniture to its original position and attend to guests’ belongings
- Comply with all department policies, procedures, and service standards
- Follow and proactively promote all health and safety policies and initiatives
- Report all concerns related to Engineering/Maintenance, health and safety, security or suspicious circumstances
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized backspace and housekeeping cart
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications for Hotel Jobs in Canada:
- Warm and caring personality
- Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming
- Excellent organizational skills and time management
- Ability to work cohesively with colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision
- No formal education/experience required
- Prior cleaning experience an asset
- Physically fit, as the role involves standing and walking throughout the shift
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Able to bend and kneel with comfort
